PCT pistons in a B18C1 gives you a substantial amount of compresssion, enough that in order to make your motor run properly...it will require engine management and tune. Your "chip" is gonna do you more harm than good. What JG IM did you buy? I hope it's not the Victor X as thats designed for 2.0+ liter motors and 10k. Do you have a dyno near you? Are the pistons already in the block?

you might want to reconsider some of those parts, especially for a street car.

Seriously? You can afford to give up 10 ft-lbs. of torque from 3,000-8,000 for a 10 HP gain at 9,000 RPM?
I will race you for pinks with my daughter's LS

For maximum power from 7000 to 10,000+ rpm, this manifold is designed for turbo- and all-motor applications on the Honda/Acura B-Series engine. Engineered for high-performance and race set-ups, this manifold has four additional bosses for fuel injectors and four nitrous bosses. The Victor X is 7.5 lbs. lighter than stock and accepts oversized throttle bodies out of the box. It is available in standard #4760 or polished finish #47601, with or without the secondary fuel rail

For our test purposes, we found a high-output naturally aspirated vehicle and a high-output turbocharged engine. The first engine was a 1998 Acura Type-R modified with a ported-and-polished cylinder head, JG Edelbrock Pro-flo header and high-lift cams. The B18 was running a stock ECU with a raised rev-limiter. The combination netted 193.3 hp and 142.3 lb-ft of torque to the wheels on the Dynojet. With the vehicle still strapped to the dyno, we swapped the Type-R intake with the Victor X manifold. This time, the B18 generated 205.1 hp and 140.0 lb-ft of torque. Although we lost 2.0 lb-ft of peak torque, we were able to gain an impressive 11.8 hp.
