Default dx/std conversion??

i was wondering on the conversion i know i could do it my self or have rywire do it but any know or heard about swapping harnesses? take a complete un cut mpfi harnes out from the ecu forward all the way to the engine. switch to a p28 ecu, add the injector resistor box and drop in a mpfi motor. would it work?

na won't work... the plugs and wires are different on the driver side shock tower plug too.. you'd have to get the whole under dash part of the harness and run that too...

all in all its just easier to do it the old fashioned way and modify the engine harness and add a couple wires on pass side of the car
