Want more hp but need reliability
I have a B16A sir in my eg and I want a little more power. Brother(my mechanic) recommends that I build up the head. So I figure I might as well go all out since it already has a port & polish.
I been reading up and have noticed that the ITR valvetrain is very reliable. Should I also be considering stage1 cams/camshafts from third party manufacturers? I'm concerned with the power that an ITR valvetrain would make versus aftermarket.
BTW: the car gets a lot of mileage, 20-25k per year. So I need a setup that is extremely reliable.
