I want to buy a new GPS for my car, and i plan to buy Magellan Maestro 3100..It has voice guidance, 3.5-inch screen.
Has anyone used it? How is it?

It doesnt seem that bad.

Though at one point, I believe TomTom One GPS was very popular. Cheap and reliable.

I am a big fan of the tom tom one. Have had ZERO complaints with them.

 

I almost bought a TomTom One but I read that alot of people were getting the white screen of death so instead of taking the chance of possibly getting a defective unit I bought a Garmin Nuvi 200W and I love it... I use it at work almost every week and it has never let me down.

I have the Nuvi 200w and love it!!! Although it gives me crappy directions sometimes, I still get where I need to go. I picked it up at BB in October and at the time it was priced at $350 retail, but I got it for $150...after rewards savings and 12% rewards discount.

Check out http://www.pricegrabber.com for the best prices. Looks like you can get it for $220 now.

Hey I am selling a Magellin Maestro 3100! I got it for xmas and haven't even opened it out of the box.

get a garmin! i sell and install ( hard wire ) them all the time. all other gps have way to many probs.

I paid $200 for mine if I remember correctly and then I got a 2 year warranty with it... It might be higher now cause I got mine for christmas.
