im looking for the part number for the balancer shaft seal retainer that was in the recall awhile back ago. I searched and found some topics but found no clear picture on what it looks like or where it is on the honda parts diagrams.. this is for an H22a. thanks....

 

I have a feeling it's number 3 on this diagram, just need some confirmation.

 

If you are talking about the front balencer seal and the new retainer no its not that one.

If you ask the the dealer for the service bulletin they can give you the part number. It might come with #29 or #30. I replaced my balancer seal and added the retainer a little while ago after a bad oil leak.

 

well the thing is that i can't go up to the dealer myself because i work all week so i'm sending someone else with all the part numbers to order the stuff for me.

I also have a feeling that the people at honda won't know what i'm talking about unless i have an actual part number.

06923-P0A-306 that is the balancer shaft retainer kit, used with accords as well. Its not pictured it is on service bulletin 00-073 at your local Honda dealer.
