pretty good non-vtec motor in my opinion. i know a guy who ran a 14.2 at the track with a zc swap bigger injectors a 50 wet shot and full exhaust. car was a fully gutted ef hatch

really? i've had the dohc zc in my 94 eg for about 40xxxk's now and i havent had a single problem, besides replacing the iacv. Any particular incidents?

Id say a solid swap if you are running no a/c and no power steering and arent worried about performance, very few moving parts I was justing writing on another thread about D16s if you throw a D16 head on a D15 block it equals a a vtec sohc compression monster the D15a2 with a D16y8 head is a cheap high compression mini-monster look it up.
