Witch tranny ? : all model between 97-01 and 02-07

Just speculation on my part here, so don't take this as gospel or anything.
A B series powered CRV should be able to use the same LSDs as any other B series (99-00 Civic SI, ITR, aftermarket), unless the RT-4WD tranny lacks the clearance necessary. The same should be true for the K24 powered CRVs and using a K series LSD (new SI, aftermarket). However, in both cases, it might require swapping the final drive and/or other internals, and your resulting gearing might be less appropriate for the vehicle.

just wondering what you would need an lsd in a crv for.
i dont know if you can put one in but i also cant see why you could possibly need one. the crv is in noway a sports car. dont get me wrong i have one and its sporty enough but it would never need an lsd. its to big and heavy to drag fast enough to think about it, and its the same to big and heavy and top heavy to require an lsd for cornering you'd most like flip it over if you were going fast enough to want an lsd. even lowered on skunk 2 coilovers and with koni yellows set to stiff it has alot of body roll even at relitively low cornering speeds.

for civic 88 wagon ultra clean !! I try to figure what i will need to swap CRv tranny, engine, rear diff. budgetary set-up
What it is the rear diff ratio and front diff ratio of 97-01 or 01 and up
What it is the rear diff ratio and front diff ratio of 97-01 or 01 and up
dont know the ratios sorry
but if you swaped both the engine and tranny you shouldnt have any problems
other than you will be running smaller tires i would assume..
honda tuning did that swap a couple of years ago in an integra and i dont recal them changing the ratios. but they had to moddify the rear brakes to fit on the teg and also converted to discs in the rear. but i would guess if your starting with an awd wagon the hubs would accept the axles. that would be an interesting conversion. now i see why you want an lsd. good luck with that swap
