locking up rockers in a b16/gsr......
i was thinking about locking up my rockers by taking out the pistons and cutting a titanium or tool steel rod to the length per assy. taking a little more wight off by removing any other unneeded material on the primary and secondary rockers and yet some more buy turning off all the lobes, other than the vtec lobes on the cams.
other then the obvious like, punk *** newbe, your going to killing the low end, the cam profile was not made for that, ect ect ect. has anyone tried it?

sleeved 84mm B18a block with gsr girdle, butchered knife edged GSR crank, custom Oliver billet GSR dimension rods, mahle pistons 12.5:1 will be about 13.2:1 with the short deck and milled head, milled and p&p B16a head, 1mm over sized Ferrea valves, JUN springs titanium retainers, 57400 comp cams, Hogan sheet metal intake, STR 65mm TB, Hytech tri-y copy header, str-4 injectors.

Best to have some rod ground for you to 10mm instead of just cutting, 4140 would also work. Search for Vtec killers, that is essentially what you will be doing, but I think the weight savings on those is better, they remove the entire centre rocker.
It's been years since I have messed with any Honda stuff but I thought you could just flip the locking pins around or something like you would do when claying the motor? Don't quote me on that though, like I said it's been a long time.
