I looked in the rules, and I didn't see anything against this. My car has American Racing Sniper rims on it, and even after cleaning and cleaning, I just can't get them back to how they were, so I thought I'd paint them. Do you like the black? or should I paint them white or silver? Sorry for the pics, I took them in the dark and its hard to see where the camera is pointed. Please don't flame on my fenders. Thanks

throw them away. just get some stock steelies and hub caps bro. also this should be posted in appearance / cosmetics

 

Personally, I think replacing those things with poppy seed bagels would be an improvement.

They are a pretty cheap rim, and not finished well, American Racing is just that way, the bullet knock offs the drag wheels etc, all seem to get funky and pitted up, you'll have to do something to them at one point or another.

If you have to keep them, black is a little less bad. Use one of the how to on painting the right way. There is a way to re polish them up too it's quite labor intensive.

although if you're gonna keep them, get em bead blasted, dont paint them black

 

Are they winter only wheels? If so, who cares?

 

I don't think it really matters if you like them rock on.
