Default Shock/strut suggestion for my set up?

I'm going to put in Eibach Sportline springs. Keep in mind they drop my car 1.7 in the front and 1.5 in the back. I'm not going to do any racing or auto crossing. This is just a second car that i drive around.

So that means i'm looking for a smooth ride along with solid performance. Not to mention good value and longevity. I'm sure there are a few you guys can suggest. I really can't go wrong with any of the major brands right? Or do you recommend a specific one?

I'd look into buying a set of KYB GR2s or whatever they're called, brand new. As long as the springs aren't so low a tech tells you you have no warranty (get it in writing from one of their retailers) you can get them installed with a lifetime warranty. One goes bad, pull it, get it replaced for free.

Should do the job for you just fine. AGXs might be a better option and might be the only ones that have that warranty.

That's funny because those were the ones i was thinking about getting. They have those on ebay for about $190 dvld which is much cheaper than any online store.

Make sure the online retailer will actually enable you to have the lifetime warranty still. No reason to buy the shocks and get screwed.

The other option would be Tokico Illuminas. A bit more expensive, but they have a generally better reputation and a bit better resale should you part the car later on.

Both are good options. I got used Konis and I'm happy but it took a year and a half of parts scouring to find them cheap enough I'd pay for them.
