Question for anyone with a Red S2k
Hello All,
I went for a long trip to buy a used 05 s2k at a dealer. When I got there I noticed both the front and back bumper to be a noticable shade of red less then the rest of the car. The car even had the factory body kit on it which was just as red as the car but the bumpers were both slightly orange in comparison. The dealer tried to tell me thats how they are but I am real skeptical. I cant imagine paying a boatload for a 2 tone car.
thanks.

the paint shade problem is fairly common.....
I have had numerous friends w/ PY ITR's,some s2ks,hell most every honda, that the bumpers did not match perfectly....
it is because the bumper covers are plastic and the rest of the panels are metal.... the flex agent applied to the plastic causes the color shade difference....

pictures would really help on this one buddy
also, the front and back bumpers have vin numbers on them. check to see that there there... i doubt its been painted if those are the bumpers that came on the car, seeing how its an 05
