Default How to Reset Tape Deck "Clean" Message?

I have a 97 Accord LX with the OEM Tape Deck radio, recently is started displaying a "Clean" message whenever I would insert a tape. I went to Radioshack and bought a Cassette Cleaner tape thingy and used it, but the message is still there.

I was wondering if it's just on a timer, (Like ever 40 hours of use or something) and if so: Is there some way to reset it?

The radio sounds perfect, but I just want the message to go away!

Try pressing in and holding the number 6 preset button.

And just a sidenote, you can get a decent CD / .mp3 / .wma etc head unit for $100 or $110, or a really nice one for about $150.
