Default How to replace timing belt?

Can anyone lead me to information on how to replace the timing belt on my 97 honda accord lx sedan? I was wondering if I can do it with my home tools, or do I need shop specific tools to complete this task. Also, if you can share your experiences that would be helpful

please, when you have a question please use the search feature to try and find your answer before posting. Chances are it's already been answered.

Now, if you look in the FAQ there is a write-up that is the first link in the Engine section. That write-up is actually about a dozen or so threads below this one right now on the first page. In that write-up you'll find the tools you need as well as a parts list. A few of the part numbers may be slightly different than yours since it's on a F22B1 and you should have a F22B2. Be sure to read the entire thread (multiple pages) as things are discussed as well as additional tips for certain things.

If you have any other questions after that just ask
