My question is with all the after market pistons out there, why go with with a set from a h22a in h22a4???

If you going through the trouble of changing the pistons. change them to type S pistons.

But going through all of the trouble for like half a point of compression is crazy. you can find better ways to make the power for less trouble and money.

to answer your question yes the pistons will drop in. some people say you would want to hone the sleeves before dropping in new pistons. might even want to go oversized type S.

You CANNOT just drop pistons into a block. You need to ensure that the cylinder wall to piston clearance is within spec, and you should really hone the cylinder walls prior to piston installation especially on an block with quite a few miles on it.
