Default 4x100 Spoon Twinblock Calipers - are extended studs needed?

Ok ive pretty much got everything needed for the Spoon 4 pot conversion on a 4x100 EG hub. Including the Spoon inner spacers (that are in the post) that I didnt even know I needed or even existed..!

The inner spacers are 5mm IIR and sit between the rotor/disc. Because it pushes the wheel +5mm out I will have less thread on the studs. Now ive been told I need to run extended wheel studs because of this. Is this correct? Ive quite happily run 7mm spacers in the front with open ended lugs in past with no problems. Can anyone confirm or deny this please? Thanks

Spoon official web suggest 3mm inner spacer . if u use thicker then 3mm. I m worries ur rotor will stick more outer side and grind the caliper.

beware......
