Default HONDA OEM COLOR CODES (PEARL VS. METALLICS)

Simple question:
Honda color codes Example: B66-p vs. NH-542M

I read somewhere that B66-p was a metallic color and I was under the impression that Honda Metallic color codes always end in M (NH-542M) for metallic.

BUT a website I read stated that B66-P was a metallic color?

Can anyone confirm this?

If a color code ending in P for pearl can also be a metallic, or if thE color code B66-P is a metallic OR NOT?

THANKS (getting car painted soon YOUR HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!)

That is how Honda describes the colors, P = Pearl, M= Metallic, nothing = solid. That's just their description though, mostly the dominant type of pigment/tint in the color. Many "metallic" colors have pearl tints also, and many "pearl" colors have metallic tints also in the mix. Usually the dominant tint type describes the type of color.
