i have a dpfi dx civic with a d15b2 motor(pretty sure). it used to be automatic before but my reverse went out on me so i picked up another tranny from the junk yard.

i was planning on using most of my parts from my old trans as far as (torque converter and flywheel, prob some of the cables as well) because the trans that i bought from the junkyard was pretty bare.

so now im just trying to find the proper way to remove and install. this is prob a dumb question but would i have to remove both axles to take off and install the trans.

thanks for the information

do a 5spd swap it is much easier to install a manual trans in these cars the automatics weigh about 50 lbs more and are just hard to get to fit in the engine bay. however if you really want the auto i suggest pulling the engine and putting the engine and trans together and putting them both in at once.
