anyone use these MT drag radials?
does anyone use these mickey thompson et street drag radials for sport compacts?? how do they compare to bfg drag radials? ive been through alot of bfgs. they dont last very long at all, like a few hundred miles and theyre slicks. the traction isnt the best either.. especially not until they are bald. i was thinking about trying these new MT's but if they are no better than the bfgs then i will want to save money because the MT's are more expensive.

lol, i spin tires in 4th on bfgs.
these MT's use R2 compound. what do bfgs use? all i can find onthe bfgs is that they have a "compound optimized for straight-line grip"

i am interested in these its just the summit is the only one i found with the and they are 160 shipped each plus shipping so if they dont last long it can get more expensive the bfgs really quick on the street

and they only have the 205/50/15's available for shipment.... the 225's wont ship out until 1/29/08... but i get my MT's from a friends tire shop.

I USED THE 205S ON A N/A MOTOR THEY HOOK BETTER THAN BFS BUT NOT FOR DAILY DRIVING ULL CHEW THROUGH THEM LIKE ITS NOT EVEN FUNNY BUT EVEN WIT BFS THEY HOOK BETTER WHEN THERE A LIL BEAT UP COMPARED TO FRESH OUT THE BOX... THESE OUT THE BOX ONE GOOD BURNOUT AND UR HOOKIIINNN HMMMMMM

i said it felt like deja vu in here because i made a similiar thread about these tires awhile back and i had a weird feeling that mrspongebob posted in that thread with the same exact thing.. ill have to dig it up.

ACTUALLY, due to your reply about knowing all about the ORIGINAL ET Street Radials, then I DID answer your original question in my reply where I said they are both the same tire with the only difference being the tread pattern so that they pass certain stringent DOT tests. Sorry for trying to help you out buddy, you obviously know everything so I will just shut up and keep my lack of knowledge to myself! Have a nice night
the tires hook great but they do wear very fast they get chewed up i only had mine 4 a few months but i love em i had the BFG last yaer and i did'nt like em the side walls cracked on me imo this tire is way better than the bfg

thanks man, so far youre about the only person who has truly contributed to the topic at hand.
i can understand the wear not being very good.. i was more concerned with the traction because bfgs arent that great for me and they sure dont last very long for me either. a few hundred miles maybe. (i only drive my car hard) i just shred them to pieces. i mean litterally almost chunks flying off. i have toher friends with rwd cars and bfgs and they can do burnout after burnout if they wanted and still not chew them up like i do.. i dont really get it, but im gonna try these MT's.
