Default sprockets

well i bought a DID 530ZVM2 x2 ring chain for my 92 CBR600F2 and before i put it on i am getting new front/rear sprockets. i am keeping the stock gearing so 15T/43T. I was looking at Renthal sprockets and can get them both for ~$100 from the local shop (no ebay for me) I know a lot of people use them for dirt bikes but what about street bikes? anyone use them? do they hold up well? i could care less on price

Renthal makes good sprockets. I assume they will be steel, so they will last a long time.

You mentioned you are keeping the stock gearing, but I'd suggest you bump up the rear to a 45. I had -1/+2 on mine and it was a nice improvement around town. And your F2 has the speedo on the front wheel, so you won't have to worry about it reading the wrong speed if you change the gearing. But if your happy with the stock gearing then no sense in altering it.

ya i am happy with the acceleration/speed as it is my first bike and have only rode for 2 months.

the front sprocket is made out of "core refined 655M13Nickel-Chrome-Molybdenum alloy steel"

the rear sprocket is made out of "pecially enhanced 7075 T5 aluminium alloy" according to kneedraggers.com

is that bad? will they wear fast?

You couldn't pay me to use an aluminum sprocket.

I had a vortex aluminum rear sprocket on my f3, it came with the kit I bought. It lasted for a good time, but steel really is the way to go if you are planning on riding the bike a lot (~5-10k miles).
