just wondering but how do you know that o2 is good? was it bought new from a auto store ...the reason i'm going there is because lets say you took it outa a friends car and it was working..you could have damaged it removing it or installing it...i've even seen new ones damaged

no it wasnt bought new. the ecu wasnt throwing any codes at the time so i took it out put it in my car to see if my ecu would stop throwing it. well it didnt so i put it back in her car now its throwing the o2 code also. before any of this i tried wiring up the o2 i had laying around couldnt get it to stop. i took the o2 i had to her car and tryied wirring it up cause i knew her car was fine. now hers is doing it even when i put her o2 back in
