broken axle need some help<<
so i am shopping right now for somw upgraded axles right now and all that i have found is the ones on driveshaftshop.com for like 850$$ for stage two<< is their anywhere else i could go to and look at?? thanks,
you could try the green ones,( gators ) i had a couple issues with them, but all in all the customer service was good. have d.s.s. level 5.9's now and not going back.
In my personal experience I have found stock axles to last longer than fidanza axles. Honestly if you cant afford good axles I would stick with stock ones. I have never broken a stock one and even if I did then its $60 from autozone for a new one with a warranty.

when you say stock axles... do you mean the reman'd crap at the auto parts stores or actual OEM honda units? huge difference.
and from MY experience fidanza is a little better and worth the little amount more. mine have lasted over a year of TONS of burnouts, launches and straight abuse. im on 24.5" slicks and cut mid 1.6 sixty foots. my car gets driven hard every week of the year.

Maybe there D series axles are alot better than there b series. I have personally witnessed 2 different cars break them on there first launch attempts whereas I cant break a stock or reman b series axle if I tried.

if you dont preload, then yes they will break just like any axle. it all depends on how well you know what youre doing and your setup. you obviously know what youre doing and they dont lol
just stating my experience and theyre cheap so why not.

they are napa axles with a lifetime warrenty but i just dont want to waist my time with stock ones if i can go with something a lot stronger and my setup is a 95 hatch with a b16a it does have a stock lsd when i was at the track i was running bfg traction ta's 195.55r15 side stepping the clutch at about 8grand, i got off the line really well a couple of times but then it starting hopping off the line and then it broke. am i not launching properly or what?? and another thing if i get stronger axles what will brake next the the differental.. lol thanks for your help .. and i only have ran a 16.3 at 87 mph in denver co. wtf i should be in the 15's dont you think,
hahhahahahh OEM is plenty for you buddy. Adjust you're driving before you switch axles. I havent seen broken OEM axles in a car that ran slower then 11's, that's not driver's error

Ive broke one autozone axle and that was on drag radials. I have well over 100 passes on my axles with slicks cutting 1.6s 1.7s and then drivin everyday pretty much. And yes my axles are lifetime so i break it i take it back im happy lol.
it's gotta be the way you're driving bro. i got a low 12 sec civic with stock axles making 207hp to the wheels and i've never broken an axle yet. and that's with full on racing slicks. what kind of car do you have and what are you launching at?
95 civic hatch and im launching at 8 grand or so i got off the line a couple of times or so really well but then the next launch it hopped a little bit and snapped the shaft, but then one time last year i let it go at 5 and i broke a motor mount cuz it hopped so bad.. i dont know what to do>>

Stock axles are fine. We didn't start looking for axles until we were trapping over 125. Thats when the boots started twisting on the ones from autozone shooting grease everywhere. Before that we just took them back every once and awhile when they got bent or cracked.
