In my personal experience I have found stock axles to last longer than fidanza axles. Honestly if you cant afford good axles I would stick with stock ones. I have never broken a stock one and even if I did then its $60 from autozone for a new one with a warranty.

Try and find some OEM axles from the junk yard. They usually work better then Pepboys and such

when you say stock axles... do you mean the reman'd crap at the auto parts stores or actual OEM honda units? huge difference.

and from MY experience fidanza is a little better and worth the little amount more. mine have lasted over a year of TONS of burnouts, launches and straight abuse. im on 24.5" slicks and cut mid 1.6 sixty foots. my car gets driven hard every week of the year.

Maybe there D series axles are alot better than there b series. I have personally witnessed 2 different cars break them on there first launch attempts whereas I cant break a stock or reman b series axle if I tried.

if you dont preload, then yes they will break just like any axle. it all depends on how well you know what youre doing and your setup. you obviously know what youre doing and they dont lol

just stating my experience and theyre cheap so why not.

hahhahahahh OEM is plenty for you buddy. Adjust you're driving before you switch axles. I havent seen broken OEM axles in a car that ran slower then 11's, that's not driver's error

Get some more seat time and practice how to drive and pre-loading.

it's gotta be the way you're driving bro. i got a low 12 sec civic with stock axles making 207hp to the wheels and i've never broken an axle yet. and that's with full on racing slicks. what kind of car do you have and what are you launching at?

another thing. Do you have all the mounts in place? some people don't use the front lower torque mounts.

Stock axles are fine. We didn't start looking for axles until we were trapping over 125. Thats when the boots started twisting on the ones from autozone shooting grease everywhere. Before that we just took them back every once and awhile when they got bent or cracked.
