Hey guys
The cam timing on my 91 crx dx has always been half a tooth off, no matter what I tried I could not get it perfect.

So I purchased an adjustable cam gear, and went to put it on and realized that I needed a woodruff key for it seeing that the stock cam gear has it built in.

I searched and many people said to get it from Honda, but what exactly do I ask Honda for?

A woodruff key for a 91 crx dx cam gear?
Will the woodruff key for the crank work for the cam gear too?
so what do I tell Honda that Im looking for exactly? (make/model/year)

 

go to any parts dealer (i went to napa) and they should be able to give you a whole 1' 1/2 bar for a few cents. just measure the size you need with a piece of clay or something similiar and have them cut about a half an inch for ya.
