Rear brake swap
Alright I read the FAQ on parts. I saw a lot of Del Sols at the wrecking yard but wanted to go the cheapest on parts even if it takes a lot of work. Did I read correctly that all I need is the spindle with every thing on it? Did it also say that that the Sol's parking cable work too? Could someone please confirm and/or list what I would need from the Del Sol for the brake swap on a 99 CX.

You can swap the spindles, but those four bolts are pretty hard to deal with. They are T-50 bolts, and if you're pulling them off a Sol, they're not going to want to break loose easily. I was going to use air tools on them, but I was scared they would strip so I just left them alone. Just get the full trailing arms, and e brake cables. See if they'll also let you get the brake lines as well instead of cutting them since they're attatched. As far as the e brake cables working, just try them. Rotors and new pads shouldnt cost that much, maybe ~50-60 bucks..
I paid 150 for my rear disks trailing arms with brake lines, 20 for the ebrake cables, 35 for rotors, 25 for new pads.. That should give you a general idea of how much you're looking at spending.
