02 accord suspension issue..
So, my brother purchased an 02 accord ex from a private party.. The car is insanely low, but the springs don't appear to be cut or anything. I assume maybe just lowering springs.. Well, the car pretty much shreds front tires within a couple months. Everytime he gets it alligned it will hold maybe a couple weeks.. He drives the car alot. He dosn't really care if the car stays low or not.. My first thought is just throw some cc plates on. Then I think maybe he should just find some stock springs and throw them on. My friend says just buy some eibachs because that would probably be cheaper than finding and paying for stock springs.. Would the stock cc plates hold an allighnment with the eibach springs.. Forgive me I don't really know alot about Hondas.. I have a cobra and a civic as a dd.. What do you guys think would be his best bet.. He drives alot and is just throwing money away on tires and alignments.. He dosn't know much about cars and I would like to help him out just don't know alot about Hondas..
Thanks..
Thanks..
The car has a double wishbone suspension - there are no camber/caster plates because it does not have McPherson struts.
Something sounds odd. I've never heard of a wishbone Honda "not holding an alignment" if done properly, because all you can adjust is toe via the tie rods. What were the before and after specs of his last alignment? Does he have the print-out sheet?

I'm not sure if he has a print out or not. I guess I'll let him know to just buy some eibachs or something.. Since he doesn't really care if its lowered or not, is there like a spring company that makes a spring like oem that dosn't lower a whole lot? Hopefully with new springs it will align up..
