SRR D-Series 4.9 final drive unused for hydraulic D16z6 D16y8 5 speed transmission
This is just the final DRIVE being sold. no tranny.
SRR D-Series 4.9 final drive. not ran, but was installed.
This fits all D series hydraulic transmissions from 1992 up.
It is a great upgrade for a street/track car with a DX/LX trans. Or throw it in an EX or SI trans for a monster Track gear ratio.
$290 shipped.
will only take Paypal from a CONFIRMED ACCOUNT.
will also take a money order.

Any idea what kind of RPM I'd be looking at on the road at 60-70 mph with my JDM VTi tranny (same gearing as EX/Si AFAIK)? Car's not a DD so I'm not too worried about it but I still drive quite a distance to events and stuff...
Anyone know if there's a taller 5th that I could put in there while I have the case open?

i'm guessing the VTi case is the same as a normal D series P20 case?
if the gearing is the same as an EX, then you'd be looking at 140mph top speed at 7k rpm.
with 205/50/15 tires.
you'd be at 3500rpm in 5th gear at 70mph. 3000rpm would be 60mph.
Here is the 4.9 EX vs. stock EX.
definitely gives more usable 4th gear for roadracing. especially on a low hp N/A D-series.

Tempting...
I've never gotten the car over 125 mph anyway... not sure if it's limited by drag, power or the size of my cajones. (maybe all 3)
I tried today, 60mph was about 2500 and 70 was about 3000... so it sounds like a 500 rpm increase. I think I could live with that.
