Relay Location
I have a 97 Accord thats been sitting for about 4 weeks , I started and drove it yesterday. When I shut it off the condenser fan comes on and stays on.
I tryed it again today and the same thing happens even if the car only runs for a minute as soon as the key hits the off position it comes on. When I pull the number 15 fuse under the hood labeled condenser fan it stops and doesn't start when I put the fuse back in, until I start the car again.
From what I've read today it could be the condenser relay? but I can't find it.
Any help explaining where this is or any other thoughts on it would be great.
Thanks Bruce

its located by the condenser itself. if you pop the hood and look straight down, i think it will be on your right, you're going to have to reach down, its got like a rubber cover over it, but its down there. there are two of them there, one does the radiator fan and the other the condensor. i think the one closest to the top does the condensor, but i may be wrong.
It's above the compressor on the left hand side of the car (behind the condenser fan). There should be two relays close together: the condensor fan relay and the compressor clutch relay.
The condenser fan relay should have four wires going to it. White - yellow/white - blue/yellow - green.
Once the relay is removed check for continuity between the A and C terminals when power and ground are connected to the B and D terminals. There should be no continuity when power is disconnected.

Thanks for the help.
I found two relays today bolted to the drivers side of the rad, pulled the one off that I think from the instructions and did the test on it and it seems fine.
I left the relay unhooked and started the car shut it off and the same thing happens. I tried it with them both unhooked and the same thing happens.
So I'm thinking either I don't have the right relays or it's something else.
It's the fan on the pass side that keeps coming on and the only thing that will shut it off is pulling the 15amp fuse labeled condenser fan.
Any other thoughts would be great.
Thanks again Bruce

When you shut the car off and the fans are running; open the hood and unplug the temp sensor that is in the line of the top radiator hose.
if the fans shut off you have found the problem...replace that temp sensor.
