I have a '97 2door coupe Accord and need to replace the intermediate pipe of the exhaust. Are there any differences between the exhaust on an Accord sedan and coupe? Any differences with the intermediate piping? Also, I was looking at this intermediate piping..... will it work?? Thank you

there is no differnce between the coupe and the sedan, my brother and i both use the same exhaust and he has the sedan and i have the coupe. so yes it will fit.

 

but there is a difference between the (DX,LX) and (EX) and (V6) if you have any question you should try look up the diagrams at http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com or go to the official honda parts estore (they have better pictures there).

 

90% of the parts are interchangeable from the engine back for the 5th Gen Accords. The 10% being the obvious V6 header & downpipes. And the V6 does not have the 10" intermediate pipe that you have pictured. Other than that everything will fit.

So to answer your questions.

No there are no differences between them and

Yes. If you are looking for the pipe that goes between your down pipe and catalitic converter this one will work.
