01 V6 break problem
It annoys the heck out of me that my brakes keep on rubbing against the disc. I took it to the mechanic but he wasn't any good. Whether the brake pad is new or thinly used, I keep on hearing screeching noises from the brakes. I'm certain because when I apply brakes, the noise got louder.
Is there a away to make the noise stop? I have ABS & tracking control. A few years ago, I attempt to turn a **** on one side by the brake even w/o knowing exactly that it was. But both sides are having problems. I get about half the life of normal people.

non of us can really tell you what the solution of your complaint is but some of the probable cause may be.
1. a pebal got caught between the pad and rotor
2. you are using a mostly metallic brake pad (for instance the cheapest one you can find at checkers)
3. moisture (example would be your car sitting overnight, moisture attached to the brake components, in the morning it will screech awhile until moisture is gone)
4. your brakes are down to wear indicator and now its scraping the rotor (which i doubt it, because you already mention that you had someone look at it)
5. my personal favorite one: the retainer clips on the caliper bracket that goes on the top and bottom of the brake pads are bent causing it to rub on the rotor. this isnt that easy to spot unless you take out the brake pads. mine used to screech when I make turns because it was bent.

lol on my 98 accord I had over 100K on my front pads and replaced the rear ones at 95K miles
you need to use the shims
you need to use anti squeak
you need to sand the rotors to rough up the surface a little
you need to lube any caliper pins you remove and the ones you did not
