What would you choose?????
OK. I trying to choose which block setup would be better or more worth it.
1. b16 block
Sleeved with darton sleeves(83mm)
je 9:1 piston
Manley rods
2. b18a block
Sleeved with darton sleeves(81.5)
je 9:5.1 piston
Eagle big bolts rods
Head would be the same for both.
b16 head
Itr cams
skunk2 dual spring and tatinum retainers
Aem tru time cam gears/fuel rail and pressure regulator.
Skunk2 pro series manifold
68 mm throttle body
The head is also PnP.
Turbo is the garret ball bearing 67trim(forgot the name of the thing) Or do you guys recomend one in particular/another one.
Now the reason I ask which of the blocks I should take is because I'm being sold a b16 complete ready to go block with the parts just stated. So I'm trying to make up my mind on if I should buy the b16 (the person is selling it for 1200 brand new 0 miles) or wait and sleeve my Ls block.
For now I'm looking to get 450-500 hp on either one until I get all the other thing require(like full fuel system and etc) So I could be able to go 40psi and try and get 750-800 hp out of the setup.
Should I buy the b16 or go with the ls.
THIS ARE THE ONLY 2 OPTIONS PLZ NO H22 AND ETC.
