also, will 8 or 8.5" wide rims fit w/out doin' any mods to make them fight on my 4dr GSR?

 

I dont know too much about them except that Rotas gram light copies are lighter.

 

sure, their lighter than the CAST volks. but the forged, and pro versions of the gram lights are both just as light as the rotas. <pro> <cast> <forged>

you see the differences between the different versions?

daym i never knew they made a forged gram light...pretty surprised they made them in cast to begin with...anyone know when the 15" is going to be available?

 

they would probably weigh about a gram

here's a pic of my volk gram lights (57C) in 16x7. i got them brand new for less than $900. i'd like to hear of anyone who has gotten them for cheaper. and btw i think they weight about 16lbs.

i got those in 17 and gunmetal with tires for $1100 out the door.

 

they were about $860 w/o tires. i got some falken ziex502s in 205/45/16 ZR for a little less than $400.

 

In laymans term, forging is a process that allows for less alloy to be used in obtaining the same strength on a thicker, heavier cast wheel.

= lighter rims.

bigmouthcivic: Did you get the +42 offset wheels? You also said they weigh about 16lbs. I thought they would weigh less than that in a 16" version.
