LED Third Brake Light..
i am guessing he means convert the incandescent 3rd brake light attached to his RS hatch into an LED 3rd brake light.
i actually did this to my '94 RS not too long ago. i started looking around for OEM LED third brake light assemblies from other hondas that might have a close fit, such as the new civic coupes and maybe new civic hybrid. but i ended up actually just making my own after finding a thread on hidplanet of some guy who did it to his teg. since you need to register before you can view threads there, i'll grab some pics he posted of his project (which can be found here: http://www.hidplanet.com/forum...ight=) and put them up here so you can see. i pretty much did the same thing:

if you need a little more explanation about the pics or project take a look at his thread on HIDPlanet. If you are pretty good with simple circuitry, a soldering tool and dremel, it should be a piece of cake.. Mine came out just as nice and really looks OEM! once my spare set of amber turn signals comes in the mail i'm getting started on retrofitting some amber LED boards in them!

ok guys here are my own pics of my led converted 3rd brake light. originally i had used a hot glue gun to attach the led board to the housing (just like in the pics from the DIY i followed), but when i went to take pics for you guys i noticed it was sitting crooked in there because the glue melted from sitting in the sun!
so i took it out and rigged up a quick paper clip 'holding' bracket to hold the led board in place. seems to be pretty sturdy. anyhow, on to the pics:
leds off

leds on, using a 9V battery. the leds will light up brighter than this once it is hooked up to the car:

leds on (kitchen lights off). sorry, i forgot to take a pic with it behind the red lense:

here is a pic of what it looks like from under the hatch with the bottom half of the housing taken off:

hope these pics help! sorry if some of the pics suck!

your plate light is crazy bright! haha. mine was actually that bright too, but i didn't want to attract too much attention so i put more resistors on it to dim it down a bit.. maybe sometime in the future i'll put it back to full brightness..

are you talking about the perforated board? you can get them at radio shack!
a 6"x8" piece is like $5:
