revalving and shortening bilstein questions
Just a quick question, im revalving my bilstein shocks for my HC eg with 650#F and 800#R ERS springs CG sleeves and wanted to know if i should have the front shocks shortened while im at it. I do run the CG tophats both front and rear.
If i do want them shortened, how much do i shorten them by? Bilstein needs to know the exact amount so their engineers can do the work.
I was thinking the amount of shortening really depends on the amount of drop, which of course i dont really know yet as im still working on the suspension. Is my best bet to just keep them as is and then see how they are first?
Any help would be appercaited.
thanks,
liam
if youre running GC top hats, you dont need to shorten the shock.
doing both will limit your full droop length and force you to use a shorter spring.
its one or the other.
