s2k seats + del Sol - A/C = ??????
Anyone have s2k seats in a car with no a/c??? How bad does the leather burn your ***** in the summer? I am thinking about trading my buddy club buckets for some red s2k seats, but I am concerned about swap crotch in the summer.
Anyone?
Anyone?

Depends on where you live, how hot it gets, how much tint is on your windows...
In Texas, under 112 degree temperatures, 30% tint and a clear blue sky at noon...
The seats are 160+ degrees and will give 1st to 2nd degree burns, and the titanium factory shift **** is well over 200 degrees and will give 2nd degree and 3rd degree burns.
Put a windshield screen up, throw a towel over the shifter, steering wheel and seats and you're good to go.
Of course, this is on a 2001 S2000 I'm talking about. A/C doesn't help much for hot leather.

The summer isn't too bad. I live in Illinois. My S2000 has AC..but sometimes, I wouldn't use it. The seat didn't really burn me at all. Although, I moved here from the desert, so the heat doesn't bother me. I dont drive it in the winter, but getting in it every couple of weeks to start it up SUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCKS!!!!! I had a GSR uptill a week ago. I hated the leather in that thing in the winter. That was the WORST.
You'll hate it in the winter for sure. It takes your car a lot longer to warm up in the winter than it does to cool down in the summer.

I live in Detroit. It gets 80 - maybe 90 degrees tops here.
I dont drive it in the winter, so I am not worried about cold leather.
Just wondering hot hot the red seats will be.
Also, this isnt a DD. I usually only drive it on nights and weekends.
