gsr swap best go faster parts for all engine
so i dropped a 94 gsr angine into my 94 sol i have a turbo but i dont wanna be constantly messing with the tune ups and whatnot so im thinkin of selling it and just doing all engine,.........whats my best course of action regarding parts and such
Bigger engine.
If you want to waste $5000 making something that's not fun to drive daily and still won't keep up with a turbo'd GSR, then do this:
Cams, High compression pistons, rods, sleeves, Entire valve train, rods, Overbore, Micropolish the crank, spend $450-$1000 on a GOOD header and another $600 on ITB's.
Keep naming parts until everything has been replaced. And be happy with 220whp.
OR
Swap a k20. for about the same price you paid for your swap + the list above and save a lot of labor.
Props for the vaguest most unanswerable question of the day

Actually there was an answer in that post. You unfortunately have neither the means, nor intelligence to comprehend it.
And for the record, a turbo with supporting mods can be just a reliable, if not moreso than a seriously worked allmotor. And if you don't understand that:
Yo d@wg, d1s turblow motor sp@nks dem all engine cars for realz, cousin. And she runs goods 2.

I know there was an answer in that post the delivery method of it however wasnt neccesary, and god forbid someone know more about something than you....i keep bumping into more and more of you gearhead ********
then again theres really no point in arguing a turd is a turd regardless of the post they make or what they know

I LOL'd at "All engine" everytime he said it. It just sounds goofy.
If you have a boosted car done right, I doubt you'd want to go N/A.
BTW: I am NA and still love it. Don't want any N/A guys thinking I was putting it down

the first thing if you're going to go n/a with the GSR is to probably get rid of the intake manifold and get yourself a skunk2 one. i believe it's less restrictive compared to the secondary butterfly's that the stock unit has.
you might want to look into a tranny with shorter gearing as well (B16A or JDM '98 ITR).
and then you could always do the valvetrain first with some cams, port and polish the head and (as stated before) get a really good header. you should look into something to run your motor such as a hondata, etc...
if you get bored of that power, then there's more internal stuff to do (up compression with pistons, bore the block to make it a 2.0, etc...), but keep in mind that it'c costly for the gains you'll get.
an n/a motor built to the ******* can also be highmaintainence though (tuning ITB's to temp change just to idle)....
anyways, good luck with your build dood.

The reason for the post is for your blatant ignorance. You posted on the BUSIEST honda forum in THE WORLD
B18c1's have been around for a little over 14 years now. Don't you think that since this website opened in 2000 this question has been asked about 9,435,124 times?
It's an engine. Add parts, go faster. The answer hasn't changed much.
The only Reason I answered the way I did is because I've seen threads like this practically every day since I joined 3 years ago. Pardon me for being tired for obvious lack of comprehension.
/rant.
To answer your question: "Oh wait, I already did."
Welcome to the forum. Yes we're a bunch of ********, but it's the price you pay for having the access to the biggest Honda community in the world.
I'm sorry I hurt your e-feelings.
I'm ready to listen now if you have some other assets you wish to mention. You asked a VERY vague question with no regards to:
Time
Tools
Knowhow
Engine health
Personal tastes in engine performance
Goals
And last and most importantly: MONEY
Love you no ****. But We need to know more than "I have X motor and want to go Y fast"
