I'm looking for a set of street tires that I can use in the summer as well as autocross. Preferably something with a strong side wall and sticky in wet/dry conditions.
I have a set of Kumho 712 Ectas 86V that I will be trying out in the next few weeks.

People say the Azenis are pretty squishy. I'll have to pick up a set and try them out for myself. Thank god their affordable.
To affordable, good performing tires

Or, if you want to go fast, turn fast, and brake fast, buy an R compound tire like the AO32, Ecsta V700, or Hoosier tire, all DOT legal. You can run them on the street too, at the expense of tire life.

I was looking for a street tire. R compounds are nice but not streetable (weather and wears out fast).
I guess the Azenis are the best street/track tire out there that is affordable.
I ended up purchasing a set of Kumho 712's cause nobody had Azenis in stock (or so I thought). They are very durable from what I have observed and pretty good sidewall strength but I have nothing to compare it with.
Next time though, Azenis for sure.
