help olease broken shift linkage

hi there guys i got a 91 civic dx that gots a busted shift linkage the welds went on it so now i need to know how can i fix it i got a shift linkage off a d16y7 in the scrap yeard i was wondering will if fit i need to know because i got work tomorow and i need my car i will be up all night trying to fix it can some one please help me

Do you have tools to weld? I'm sure fixing the welds at any place with a welder would be a snap.

i dont got eney weld tools it broke right where shifter boot hooks up to the bar its rusted bad i was wondering if a ek linkage will work because i got a buddy that has one

If your transmission is a D series. then from 88-00 civics will all interchange and del sols with d series engine and crx with d series engines. If you see a b series engine in the EK from your buddy will not fit.
