GSR suspension VS. LS,RS
Ok guys i dont know that much about tegs and such, but i wanna prove my friend wrong on this one, he's all caught up on the fact that the SGR has better suspension than the LS, RS. I was like nah the type R has the better suspension, So who is right? lol i think i am but i dunno. Thanks guys.
I think the GSR has a more aggressive suspension setup than the LS/GS/RS. Not entirely sure though.
I think the only the difference suspension wise between the GSR and LS/GS/RS is the front and rear sway bar are alittle more beefier on the GSR.
i think GS/GSR except the engine others are all teh same~~
And we all wonder why all the older members don't post anymore... God, I miss the old FOR SURE tech days.

As far as handling wise: Going from a GSR to an LS will not be that much of a difference as far as handling. But going from a GSR/LS to a Type R will def. be an improvement...

lol well everytime i post thanking somebody, somebody else posts more info at the same time, so thanks once again EVERYBODY that has and is gonna post info.
The skidpad ratings are pretty similar... LS at 0.78G and GS-R at 0.80G. The Type-R is rated 0.91G.
Compared to a LS, the GS-R has: larger sway bars and front strut tower bar. I have heard one person say that the springs and/or shocks may be better too, but I have doubts about that.
I think Honda did a good job of tuning the engine, but the stock suspension, although better than most cars on the road, has plenty of room for improvement. I've heard of LS'es with a few suspension mods pulling over 1.0G's on the skid pad.

Damn, i love how you guys get on us for posting what we think is useful information instead of some sorry crackdown attempt which didn't get you anywhere.
"Think" is a word used a lot when you are not sure of something so thanks for wasting your time and pointing that out when all twenty of us already understood.

It's much better to admit that you "think" something than say something that may not be true and pass it off as fact anyways. Honest non-bullshitters use "I think" when appropriate.
not trying to be a pest Sima but your measurements are written in feet/inches. just clarifying if anyone was confused
remember MM is converted to inches by dividing MM by 25.4 ( MM/25.4 = inches )
LS/GS/GS-R - 5.9" ride height
ITR - 5.3" ride height

Did the GSR's always have the larger from bar vs the LS/GS? I ask this because I know when my brother bought his wifes 2001 LS, it had the same size bars as the GSR. Whereas, when I bought my 1999 GS, I believe the only difference was the rear bar (12.9mm vs 14mm).
Isn't there a source that we can get this info from???
