Default K24/Z3

Ok guys here it is. i have a K24A1 bottom end out of a CR-V and am going to put the Z3 head out of my 06 si and put it in my si.. My first question. What kind of numbers will this combo put to the ground with the new AEM FIC ecu? Anybody used this piggy back unit before?? Next question is will this block bolt directly in my si with no fabrication?? And also with this combo what is my new redline?? can the K24 still handle the 8000 rpm redline of my si??

Search for "Nikos"...
He can answer all your questions about K engines....
Sounds like a badass setup! Goodluck with the build/swap!

1. I would go to K20A.org for more information.
2. The K24 will need a different oil pump to handle 8,000 rpm's consistently. 7,600 is all the higher you need it to go, anyways.
3. Piggyback units are a band-aid to fix a broken leg. You're best off switching to K-Pro, otherwise you won't see nearly as much power from the swap as you should.
4. As for power, you might want to check the forum rules:

4) E-Racing/Bench Racing/Guess my 1/4 or HP
There is no place for it here, it is not productive, frequently leads to arguments, and is generally pointless. Go find a dyno or a drag strip.</TD></TR></TABLE>
