Default H22 Euro-R Manifold porting and polishing?

Hi,

i got an EDM Acord Type-R, it`s the same as the JDM Accord Euro-R only the looking is different. The OEM manifold is factory polished by Honda.

I`ll be thinkin`about porting & polishing my manifold by Blacktrax.
Are Stage 3 worth the money?

What about the spacers what they are good for?

By the way this will be my setup for the summer:

Skunk2 Pro1+
Ferrea valves
full ported & polished head
JE Pistons custom made 12:1
Eagle rods
balanceshaft removed
Honda S2000 injectors
Haltech E6X
Custom Header DTR or Hytech
200 cells cat
2,5" custom made catback
Quaife LSD
Mfactory final drive

Since you already have an ATR manifold, I don't think it would be worthwhile you replacing it with anything else. Just get it port matched to whatever size throttle body you go for.

I've got a similar build in my H22 Prelude, and would reccomend the Pro 2 cams with the 12:1 compression your looking at, as they'll definitely make more use of that compression .

I personally think that the quaife LSD may be a little uneccesary, as the ATR already has a helical LSD as stock, so I would invest that cash in something like suspension or brakes.

Lastly, what size injectors are the S2000 ones? I would reccomend at least 390cc's for your build. I went with DSM 450cc's, but they are a little overkill in hindsight.

Thanks for the advice i will talk to my tuner and will think about Pro2+.

Mfactory final drive will not fit the ATR LSD, that`s the problem!

S2000 are 345cc and that are only that will fit without modification. You have to change to many think to make it fit and that is not worth in my eyes.

The OBD1 4th Gen Prelude has 345cc injectors as stock, and I found them to just be a tiny bit underrated at the higher rpm's. You may be able to get away with them if you fiddle with the fuel pressure though.

I'm pretty sure that all of the RC Injectors are just plug and play in your engine, so long as you just pick a 'saturated' type injector.

Make sure you get them for cheap then, an extra 20cc's isn't very much to play with.
