i have a fg2 with a K&N sri and want a catback. give me pros and cons of both and tell me which one is better to buy. also loudness and hp gains. thanks

 

LSD Claims 13.5 HP but i havnt heard anyone saying so with the Exhaust and as for the EVO2 its a little too big for my taste. Check out the dc sports exhaust.

I had the K&N SRI and the EVO2 on my car, loved it. Deep in the low range but speaks up around 5k.

 

thanks thats the type of post that i needed ^^^. would you happen to have any vids of you car with the sri and evo2?? if not no biggie but what is the best price that you have found the exhaust for. Im not a huge fan of the Dcsprorts exhaust its the basic caister style. and it looks like a big canister and its loud!!!. the evo 2 has a 4in tip but has the big body muffler that is uner the car. i like the style of the evo 2 but havnt seen a good pic of the lsd.

 

was there any drone when u had the sri and evo2??

only 13.5HP for the sedan not the coupe...

 

thats on,y sedan because the FA5 has a power 4 exhaust and the FG2 has a jsport. the power 4 is the louder more powerful exhaust the jsport is like the touring i guess.

 

does anybody know where the best prices for exhaust are. i found 509 shipped for evo 2. anybody find a better price??

 

Go evo2 its the best median between being quiet during cruising and sounding great at WOT + the quality is there buy it now and don't look back

 

lsd is way too annoyingly loud, will get you a ticket and rattle your car apart. evo2, you cant go wrong, personally a ws2 or sp2 would be the best all around, youll see what im talking about when you get tired of the noise level.

 

im pretty sure i get what your saying about the noise. i had a tc b4 and it had no cats or resinators. 2.5 all theway header spipe and skunk2 catback. but im going to get teh evo2 this friday im ordering it hopefully have it in in a week.

 

Just writing out of excitement b/c its been a while since i last bought a part for my baby but i just ordered the evo 2. Can't wait!!!
