i still dont get why a b16a2 from a si... cant be put in a 96-00 civic and run DSP. You can put a b18c5 in an integra LS and run DSP... makes no sense. Hate having to run SM with a b16 lol

maybe you should have picked up a 99 and done a trim conversion.

Awesome...thanks.
Can someone please enlighten me on the engine swap criteria for Street Modified? It's kinda confusing. Example: You can have a gsr motor, (usdm or jdm) in your 99 civic coupe...yes or no?
Page 117:
1. Engine block must be a production unit manufactured and badged the same as the original standard or optional engine for that model. Badges that exist as marketing aliases for the manufacturer will be recognized as equivalents. Swaps involving makes related only at a corporate level are not recognized as equivalents. Models produced as a joint |venture between manufacturers may utilize any engine from any partner in the joint venture, provided that an engine from the desired manufacturer was a factory option in that particular model (e.g. Eagle Talon available originally with either a Mitsubishi or Chrysler engine, may use any motor from Chrysler or Mitsubishi). This allows engine blocks manufactured as production units for sale in other countries such as Japan or Germany.

That's what I thought...thanks for the input.
The civette would not run SM.

youll need more than the blower im affraid, i run a supercharged integra in SM. i do ok locally, but when i go to the larger events i get my *** HANDED to me.
now squeeze some 275 on that bich, roll her down to minimum weight ( a fwd 1.8 SC car is 1990 lbs) and we're in buisness

thats not true... the #1 FWD has a b18c5 NA.... he said a b16 with jrsc had much more low end... put a 4.9 on that... weeee, And yes 275's im on 205 v710's now. And i dont plan on doing that many big events yet. Its still a DD
i didnt mean more power
nothing better than a little grunt from our hondas with the help of a blower, i meant more than just the added power
rodney is the man. so is clemson hatch with his twin charger setup.
