Default ****POLISHED UP THE BLADES****

Took on a little project last weekend. Took about 5 days but it was well worth it.

The blades were all worn and scratched up. Clear coat was cracking and what not. Heres the process. ENJOY.

What they looked like before

Airplane stipper!

First wet sanding process

After a couple passes on wet sanding with a low grit(320) no pics of 400 grit

Third passes with a higher grit(600)

Fourth pass with another higher grit(800)

Finished with 1000 grit and polished with MOTHERS

Mounted on the car. Looks good

Hope you liked it. Fingers are cramped up but it think its well worth it. Tell me what you think

Did you sand it by hand?

And what did you do with the insides (side wall) of the spoke?

you cant clear coat them because the finish is too smooth for a clear coat to stick, and with normal daily driving and simply polishing them every 2 weeks they should look good forever. And no he didnt polish the inners according to the pics.

You should of atleast taken the weights off before you did that. Either way take them off and get stick on weights.

so what do you think he sanded off?? aahh clear coat there dude!! clear will stick you have to use the right stuff, it's a little different than car paint. Bad *** set of wheels man good work coat them asap will cut down on polishing time. I got my 24.5 alcoha''s on f650 cleared so I don't have to polish 6 wheels every 2 months.
