Default Harness belts

I'm looking into getting a 3 point harness belt for my car, I do not have a roll cage or a harness bar to mount them on, I did notice Corbeau has "bolt in" models, but int he pictures they don't show a way to bolt in the top one, its just a strap which leads me to the conclusion that it is designed for the harness bar, how would I bolt in that shoulder/top strap to the car without the harness bar?

Thank you.

The only safe way is a harness bar.

when the harness is bolted to the floor, or the rear seats/seat belts, in an accident since the belts are angled down they will pull you down in the chair which could break/hurt your back.

You're much better off using a stock seat belt then a 3point mounted to the floor. Not to mention a 3pt is a ball crusher.

My oem seatbelts are in pretty bad shape.
I'm sure they aren't that safe.
I'm probably going to Auto-x in the future, I just don't wanna spend on some seat belts and have to replace them later...
But I don't know much about harness bars but what do you guys recommend then?
I know finding one for the Prelude is gonna be a PITA..

Actually, here's something neat: if your stock seatbelts are actually worn out and you suspect them to be unsafe, you can take the car into the dealer and they should replace them for free. Even if one dealer won't accept that, try around.

Yeah ive heard this too. Most dealers will replace seat belts at no charge, even if the car is way out of warranty. They dont want you getting in an accident and killing yourself because of a bad seat belt.

this is very true - did that with my CRX just recently. As long as the belt has not been tampered with, bring it in to the service dept, they'll write it up, and order the part.

Once in, they'll swap it out. Done deal. Even though I will be mounting harnesses in my civic, I'm doing that same thing to it first, so I have fresh replacements if I need to put them back in later.

I have seen some Eyebolts to the floor used for the over the shoulder belts.. however I would never use them because of this very reason.

Okay, I've been doing some searching.
I found a website that sells "bolt in" roll cages for my Prelude, what do you guys think of them? Is it just as safe as a welded in rollcage would be?
I'm thinking it wouldn't since you'd have to put it together to get it in the car because fully built it won't go in through the door muchless the roof lol.

you need a rollBAR not a CAGE

cages are for racecars and people who wear helmets

not for street cars.

I plan to have the car somewhat trackable by the end of the year so I'll probably look into one in the future, hence my question.
Auto-xers wear helmets

Buttt where can I find a rollbar for my car then?
