Default will a 1990 front end fit a 87 car(both civic si)

I have a very rusty 90 si but the front end is very good shape, with no motor or trans.

I also have a 87 si but the front end is damaged(hood, fenders, bumper), but it runs good and drives good, and the rest is in good shape.

has anyone ever put the 90 front end on a 87 si?

would it be easy??

thanks

turbo7

also, I would have just put 87 stuff on it, but I can't find any hoods in canada anywhere. and fenders are really expensive new, and most junkyards don't have many si's from these years.

short answer, no. NONE of the body panels are a bolt on fit. The 1G CRX shares absolutely no exterior parts with the 2G CRX.

??get-out??

I should think that it will look better that it does right now with the front end smashed in!

in canada, parts are scarce and rare and expensive.
