Default Need a few suggestions

I have been having some trouble with my tranny. I can't get it into 1st or reverse, but every other gears work but are stiff to go in. Do you think it would be the clutch or the tranny synroes?

Clutch cable tension is too loose. There should be some pedal freeplay. or the release bearing is out of lube and needs to be lubed on to ease the shifting.

I got another question for anyone that can help! After doing my swap my buddy did the wiring. Ever since than my stock tachometer doesn't work, he told me it was because of the swap and at that time i didn't ask questions because i had an after market monster tach. But this summer i'm rewiring the swap because he did a sloppy job.. i was wondering how i could get the stock tach to work again.

I put a d16z6 into my 90 crx dx if that helps at all. The speedometer works, and so does the temp and gas.

Thanks a lot!

to fix the stock tach, follow blue wire from dizzy back to instrument panel, there should be a fuse for tach. i do believe its #1 10A fuse
