95 Accord Heat Problems
I have a 95 accord 4 cyl. The heater hasn't been working. A heater hose sprung a leak and when replacing it I took off the heater valve, it is wide open and unobstructed. I then blew air through the heater core with both hoses removed and it flowed through fine. I put in a new thermostat and when all was reassembeled , and with the air bled all the air out of the system the problem remains. The blower works fine but no hot or even warm air.
The car has been in our family since new and has approx 315k miles on it. The problem didn't seem to come on gradually, in the spring the heater worked great, and in the fall no heat at all. I am sure the problem is not in the core.
Someone suggested that there may be a door in the ducts that is not opening properly, but as I push the buttons the air does come out the proper outlets
Any suggestions, or links to possible answers would be much appreciated

Go dash diving on the passengerside, there will be a little shroud held on with a plastic button at the bottom of the center core. When you yank that off you'll be able to see that the heater cable goes to a lever. See if the problem is under there.
