I have a 98 crv ex and the power locks went out on it. Ive changed out the switch on the door. what else could it be other than the computer/ relay in the door. Anything would help. thanks.

 

All or just one lock is out? If its just one,it could just be the door lock actuator. Thats the thing that mechanically locks the door. If its all of them,id bet you have a bad door switch. This switch is the little switches on the door frame. If the door pin switch is bad,the rest of the car thinks it has a door open and wont allow you to lock the doors. Does it not work with key,keyless entry,all or just one?

 

did you check the fuse's

 

i've got the same issue, i think it's my aftermarket alarm

 

try and explane every thing that happens does it lock all door from the out side with the key
with the door fully closed can you lock all doors
do you have keyless is the fob battery dead is you car battery dead
did you check all of you fuses
last think can think of with the door handle cup off unplug the switch and test the conections with a volt-o-meter
check all of those things and if the are good and it still doesnt work take it to honda

 

had the problem on my 03 civic,,,
just replace the actuator
