so i pulled off my full msd and coil and then had to hook it back up bc the car wouldnt run right...now when i put it to the floor and it goes over about 7000rpms the tach will jump battery light will come on and then the car will die....it never did this before so idk what could be wrong and i noticed it also seems to be running hotter then normal. it has a dohc zc thats slightly built..somebody help me out

battery like coming on is the charging system. I would say you have bad ground or your alt is dying. I would start with getting the alt check at local parts store. Alt removal is easy just drop it out the bottom after getting the bracket off it.

 

Seems to be running hotter than normal...Hmmm...Did you fill the engine with coolant/water 50/50 mix on the upper radiator hose.

 

the alternator tested fine and i checked some of the grounds and they should be good, its got radiator fluid so idk why its getting hot
