Just picked up a Canon Digital Rebel XT/350D over the Christmas holidays and I'm still learning how to use it.
The weather here has been oddly warm the past few days and caused all the snow to melt. Anyway, here are the pic. C+C welcome.

And here is my summer/good weather car.

Your composition is lacking but at least you know how to use the camera (i.e. focus and exposure).
You should try taking the car out and getting some shots in cool locations.
And definitely don't take pics like this...try to actually get something across, not just a random, poorly framed snapshot.

Thanks for the tips. I had just finished taking another series of shots and was coming home and decided to snap a few of the car.

Practice makes perfect.
Keep trying, asking for opinions and help, and you'll get the hang of it. Explore with different locations and such.

I've been trying to shoot daily and slowly but surely I'm learning bit by bit.

i find that if you stand back quite abit and use the lense to zoom in, it makes the picutre turn out a little better. Location isnt ALWAYS key however. it may help, but i've found that practice does make for improvements in any situation. I also find that, if you take a bunch of pictures (like 100+) and then pick out like 10 of the best ones, then narrow down to the best 4-5, you will usually have atleast a few really good ones in there. hth
