ok so i DID search everywhere for that matter youtube yahoo google etc. and of course here too. i have a 99 civic ex stock d16y8 and i have had some weird noises (kind of tapping) but i jus thought it was the cold weather does anyone have a sound or video clip of what valve lash sounds like. i jus want to make sure that im not doing more damage than i have to.

 

It might be easier if you posted a clip from your engine. When is the last time a valve adjustment was performed?

 

i bought the car used so i have no clue when or if it was done i jus turned 122,xxx and i bought it with 104,xxx. ill try and post a clip of it but my camera is busted ill try and get a friends.
